About Us
Strengthening Young Leaders
Hey There! We are the Women in Politics club. We are nonpartisan and seek to educate students on women who played a role in politics and government throughout the world. Our focus will be to learn about these women and take away leadership skills that can be applied to future positions in power. While all will be welcome to the club, the focus will be on teaching young women how to build a successful platform and to learn from those that have come before them. We will have guest speakers, discussions, interactive lessons and more! We would love to have you!
Our Story
Our founder, Sofia Maciejewski, was scrolling Instagram, as one does, and was noticing a lot of female politicians pop-up on her feed. She came to the realization that there was no place for people to learn to be leaders by looking at those that have come before them. She messaged Jessica and our advisor Ms. Roth and created our club overnight. Our ultimate goal is to foster a community of leadership and inspire young girls to go for positions of power.
